Description
Area Gas Monitor is a robust and portable gas detection unit designed for versatile use. It features a protective frame and foldable or fixed legs, making storage and transport easy.
It ensures 360-degree visibility through multiple beacons and delivers alerts with a powerful sounder. An optional internal pump enhances sampling flexibility, making the device suitable for a wide range of applications.
Infrared (IR) sensors may now be added to the Area Gas Monitor, enabling higher degrees of flammable gas monitoring or CO2 detection. Additionally, IR sensors not only offer protection against the poisoning effects that conventional flammable gas sensors may experience, but also enhance the reliability of gas detection.
This increases measurement confidence in tough environments such as water treatment plants and chemical or hydrocarbon processing facilities. Furthermore, it also extends the sensor’s lifespan. Users can configure the Area Gas Monitor with various sensors, including hydrogen, to monitor a broad range of hazardous gases
Versatile and user-friendly
– Infrared sensors are available, enabling the sampling of carbon dioxide and other highly combustible gas concentrations. They respond extremely quickly and are immune to poisoning.
– An integrated pump option offers a wide range of sample options
– Inbuilt display: offers lucid data and enables gas hazard detection
Rugged, tripod design
– Elevated sensor apertures: This stops water from penetrating.
– IP65 standards for usage in demanding situations
– Folding leg option for simpler stacking and transporting
– The unit’s triple-leg design enhances visibility and enables 360-degree gas intake at an optimal height.
Loud and clear alarms
– Units on the network can be positioned up to 100 meters apart, and if one alarms, all units on the network alarm.
– 12 Area Gas Monitor with cables can be networked together to make an effective perimeter defense.
-These smart devices flash alerts faster, reassuring users that they are safe and functioning properly.
– An audible and visible surge in confidence.
– Bright red LED groups as a visual alert.
– Several beacons provide 3600 ° visibility.

Infrared sensors
IR sensors for flammable gases are available in a single range (0–100% LEL) using one display channel, or a dual range (0–100% LEL and 0–100% volume) that uses two channels.
Carbon dioxide sensors come in a 0–5% volume range. Only one IR sensor can be installed, and it must be used alongside oxygen and toxic sensors
